I'm an engineer. Or I supposed to be one of them. After 3 months here, every effort to find out a new job, completely different from my current job (cleaner), hasn't brought results. I'm really eager to discover the engineering world here, probably so different from the italian one concerning rules, laws and bureacracy and, at the same time, very close since the engineering science and concepts are supposed to be the same in every part of the world, even in the most remote.
As far as I know, it's not very simple soak in this world coming from another country, without any residential expierence and with a not exciting english. Moreover, it seems that your strenghtens and weakness are not such important as the people who know you and who work in this field. Insofar you begin to know the right people in the right moment and in the right time, some door could open towards your future. Do you feel faltering or crumbling and you don't know how to do of your life, how to make your experience working? Just..do it the correct thing with the properly person!!
Anyway, since I can't utilise my professional skills in a suitable work position, I started to discover a new part of me, to bring up something which hasn't come out yet. This process began a few weeks ago when my housemate suggested to me an old book by Maxwell Maltz named "Psycho-Cybernetics".
I should put beforehand that I've never been interesting in everything can't be correlated to math and physics, 'cause I've got a background which force me to believe in concrete things that you can explain only with the science. It follows that clairvoyance, life after Death, paranormal activites and so forth represent, in my opinion, fields very far from the reality.
When I started to read that book I was really skeptical though I was, at the same time, merely curious of what the book was going to talk about.
